  • License Server could not be reached (-200)/ localhost refused to connect

    Hiya

I am having trouble connecting VRay for 3ds Max (3.60.04 EDU) to the server. I have had no issues up until yesterday. I found VRay's server update which I have installed but no solution. I have reinstalled VRay and the Licence server again but the same issue. I have tried to connect to http://localhost:30304/...still no connection.

Is there something I am doing wrong? It literally stopped working mid render??

Please try reinstalling the license server if you experience such issue - https://download.chaosgroup.com/license-server
If that doesn't help - send us an e-mail at support@chaosgroup.com

Also, note that with the new server version, the service starts with a delay on system boot: trying to run V-Ray before the server started may lead to "server not present" errors.
Verify the vrlservice/vrol exe are running as expected.
