I'm trying to test Vray for Blender on Linux: I just installed Vray Standalone trial and the Online License Server.
Before trying with Blender I intend to test rendering via the command line.
On the OLS web page I can see my Render License as Available, so, if I understand correctly how the licensing system works, all I have to do to launch a test render is to call the vray executable and pass it a test scene.
This is what I get:
helion@barracuda /opt/ChaosGroup $ V-Ray/Standalone_for_linux_x64/bin/linux_x64/clang-gcc-4.8/vray -sceneFile="V-Ray/Standalone_for_linux_x64/scenes/glass.vrscene"
