  • Error after Vray Crash -> Could not obtain a license (1002)

Hello, I'm working in Vray Next, using the IPR I experienced a crash while rotating my VrayHDRI map to adjust the lighting direction. After this, I cannot obtain my render license. I've attempted restarting my PC, deactivating / reactivating online license, and reinstalling the license server.

Even after uninstalling vray, the problem persists. Can I manually release the render node?

I don't see it as engaged on the backend. Try restarting 3dsMax. Also - refresh the license server's page (Ctrl+F5) and if the license still shows as engaged - click on the orange digit of the engaged license to see which computer is engaging it.

I tried your suggestions, the render node is still 'in use'. Active session is 127.0.0.1 I have also tried installing license server on my laptop PC, it also shows 'in use'
I am still unable to render.

Received email from support, the problem was resolved by restarting the VRLservice. I'm a little confused how that worked after everything else I tried but I'll take it! I appreciate your help.
