  • Animating settings?

    Hi guys,

I'm loving the speed and ease of use of PD Player. I have a couple of quick questions:- Is there any way of animating the exposure on an adjustment layer over the time line. Plus is there anyway of animating the opacity of a layer as well?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Steve,

Generally, settings do not support animation, but there is one exception: you can fade-in and fade-out a layer, which is a limited form of opacity animation. On the Blending tab of the property panel, under "Opacity and Fade", there are two fields in which you can set the length in frames of the fade-in and fade-out portions. This works for adjustment layers too, so if you want to animate the exposure from or to zero, this should allow you to do it.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Peter, this does the job I'm after. Ideal!

Is there any plans for full animating settings in a future release?

      cheers
