  • Pdpayer in nuke

In the manual it mentions that you can use pdplayer in nuke.
Anything that might speed working in nuke must be a good thing.
    Can't get this to work.
Has anyone been able to get this to work?
    cheers

    Hi,

What exactly is the issue you are facing - do you have troubles integrating Pdplayer into Nuke or do you have troubles exporting a composition from Pdplayer to Nuke.

    Best Regards

I believe what was meant, was that you could export your composition in PDPlayer as a Nuke script, which you could then load in Nuke and it would reproduce automatically the same composition as in PDPlayer.

If PDplayer doesn't work in nuke, why waist our time by stating that you can integrate PDplayer.

Have you managed to integrate PDPlayer into Nuke , if not please use the following instructions do to it.

              First please go to:

              C:\Program Files\Pdplayer 64\extras\nuke
or C:\Program Files (x86)\Pdplayer\extras\nuke if you are using 32bit version of PDPlayer

Copy the content of the above folder into the following folder:
              C:\Program Files\Nuke*.*v*\plugins

If menu.py and init.py already exists do not override them - instead open the files from pdplayer folder with text editor and copy its content into original nuke-files.

Then when you start Nuke you will have a new item under Render menu which will allow sending sequence into PDPlayer.
