PdPlayer appears to be case sensitive when loading sequences, but only for the first frame.
In the sequence below, PdPlayer would load every frame, even though the 3rd frame uses a lowercase starting letter.
S0001.00_PointCachePreview0001.jpg
S0001.00_PointCachePreview0002.jpg
s0001.00_PointCachePreview0003.jpg
S0001.00_PointCachePreview0004.jpg
However, if the beginning frames in the sequence are the ones that are mis-cased, they will be skipped over. In this sequence, PdPlayer would start the sequence at frame 3.

S0001.00_PointCachePreview0003.jpg
S0001.00_PointCachePreview0004.jpg
is there any way to alter this behavior? i would guess most people (including us) would prefer the load to be case-INsensitive.. as long as the name is the same, pdplayer should see all the frames in the sequence.
