set work area to 'multiple' selection

set work area to selection works great on one selected layer, but is greyed out for multiple layer selections. if i have 10 layers (in our case usually 10 shots in sequence) i want to set the work area to 3 out of 10 and have it loop over those i need to manually drag the work area in and out markers.

whats the reason for not having set work area to selection work on multiple layers? can we have it work on multiple layers?

Hi Steven,

There is no particular reason for it not to work; it's just that set work area to selection predates multiple selection, and has not yet been updated to recognize it.

I'll make a note of it to be fixed in the next release.
