  • Initial Liquid Fill with Containers Tutorial - question :)

How big is this wine glass in this tutorial ?

I ask because as a beginner in Phoenix FD, and trying to make sense of things, not knowing the size of the glass, yet seeing the Cell Size as being 1.6cm, that is making me think this wine glass is massive and not an actual wine glass size ?

    https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...ith+Containers

If it is an actual size of a wine glass, then I'm confused ! How can the Cell Size be 1.6cm and yet there are enough cells/resolution in the wine ?

Okay....... so this wine glass is nearly 3m high ?

(sorry, I do everything to scale, so I'm a little bit surprised to see this not adhered to here in this tutorial).

I believe we did it this way because we found out the rigid body simulation in the next tutorial (shattered wine glass) doesn't look good at really small scale...but that's unrelated to the Initial Fill tutorial so we shoud've stayed true to the real-world size of the object. I also noticed there are no project files for the shattered glass tutorial ...
I'll try to update those next week. Thanks for pointing this out.

      Have a great weekend !
