  • PFlow Interaction

I have a Fire/Smoke sim grid that I want to interact with a PFlow system.

The scene is basically a dirt hit on the ground, and some rocks get thrown up through the PFlow. I want the smoke (dust) to interact with the rocks that are being thrown through the PFlow system. I've setup the scene interaction to only interact with certain objects, and have added the PFlow's render node, and event node to the scene interaction. The rock particles don't seem to be interacting with the smoke (pushing the smoke with the rocks). This is the first time I've used PFlow with Phoenix, so I'm not sure if I'm missing something. Is there anything special I need to do to make it work how I want it to? Thanks.

    Hi,

You will need to add the PFlow event to a Phoenix FD Fire Source emitting only velocity. It is briefly noted here .

... or if you have shapes attached to the particles, open Phoenix right click props on the pflow system and make it Solid.

Ahh ok, I'll give both of those a shot. Thank you.
