support@chaosgroup.com would be excellent, especially if it's confidential. The guys will ping me when it arrives and I hope in a couple of days I'll be able to check it and get back to you.

        Hey,

Is there a way in maya to export out Phoenix Fd particles, or convert them to nparticles so they can be rendered in Arnold?

just trying to work on a work around to get the particles to render?

          Hey,

Yes, you can create nParticles based on the Liquid channel, but this functionality is quite limited I'm afraid.
From the top Phoenix FD menu you can create an Emitter for Nparticles. Then in the Emitter settings fill the simulator name. After that you will need to adjust the curve for the Temperature(this is shared with the Liquid as well).
The Liquid channel ranges from 0 to 1 so you will need to remap the curve to use those values. You can check the attached screenshot.

Unfortunately those particles can't be cached and trying to cache them might make Maya unstable.
