Hi all, I've got some experience with smoke but zero with liquids, and have a deadline coming up fast. Hoping for your input on how best to approach this.
I want to make a shallow flowing stream. In initial tests where I emit water from upstream and it flows downstream, it collides with the downstream wall of the sim starts to build up there and splash back, whereas I'd prefer it to continue to flow beyond the edge of the simulator. Is there a way to get it to keep flowing, or to have those liquid particles die out after a certain time/distance?
And any other misc workflow pointers you'd have for doing a shallow flowing stream liquid sim like this?
If it makes a difference, I'm working in Maya.
Thanks!!
