  • Phoenix FD to Vrscene

What are the correct procedures to export a Phoenix FD scene to a Vrscene for rendering on Vray.Cloud?

    I am running 3dsmax 2019.2 & Vray Next 4.02.04.00005 & Phoenix FD 3.11.00

.vrscene exporter with the following options:

    Compressed
    Use HEX format for mesh
    Use HEX format for transforms
    Export Animation
    Frame range of 50 - 51

The resulting file is only a few kilobytes and only contains a tiny portion of the liquid simulation and is missing my scene geometry when I use a Vrscene object to load it back into 3dsmax.
    Can anybody advise please?

    Hello,

There were some issues with the Phoenix export to the vrscene in the official 3.11 builds. If you get a latest Phoenix nightly it should work correctly.
Here is how to get a nightly build - https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...nightly-builds
