  • Mixing 3 or more liquids of various types

From the milk and chocolate tutorial I see how to blend materials between 2 different liquid emitters, but how can this be done for 3 or more?

    Hello,

You can assign each liquid source a different RGB color and then use the Phoenix Grid texture as an input for the Diffuse color of a V-Ray material.

What I want to do is mix 3 different fluids with different types of materials. One fluid with a VRayFastSSS2 and 2 fluids with a VRayMtl. They each need to have independent properties (specular, refraction, glossiness, etc.). That doesn't seem possible with the method you're describing.

No - unfortunately this is not possible yet.

Thanks for the clarification. Since this isn't currently possible can multiple simulations be run simultaneously and affect each other?

You don't need to run the simulations at the same time for them to affect each other. By default if the contents of two simulators are intersecting they will interact with each other.

I thought that the second simulation reacts to the first one but vice versa is not possible...
