  • Liquid source emits in particles per second?

Quick question about the liquid source particle emission amount. I am emitting extra foam particles ("Emit Liquid" is disabled on liquid source) into a water simulation that also generates its own foam using standard birth threshold values. My liquid source particle emission is set to 1, which I understood to be 1 particle per second but it's emitting a larger amount (a consistent stream of particles). Is that birth value also effected by the size of the emitter or the outgoing velocity?

    Thanks!

    Hey,

I gotta check the code, but I think it was thousands of particles per second. Will double check and update the docs as well, and also if there is relation to the scale of the voxel, will ping you and update that on the docs site as well. Thanks for raising this topic!

    Cheers!
