  • 2 text maps in one mask slot

    Hi,
We use this chair tutorial (https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/.../Burning+Chair) to set things on fire using vertex paint to have fire where we need it.

We also need to put out fire with water. We use wetmaps method with output.

The problem is phoenix source has only one spot for a texture. So it's either fire where we need with vertex paint but we cannot put it out or the whole object on fire that we can put it out with wetmaps.

Any suggestions how to combine two of these textures?

    Thanks

Hey, the composite map multiply sounds like the correct solution. It is not working correctly? If so, I did some fixes to texture updates in the nightly builds the last month, so please grab a latest nightly and see if it works better for you.

    Cheers!

Thanks. Do you have any examples by any chance. I am not sure how to mix vray composite texture (to show where they fire is born ) and wetmap particle texture (to put out the fire ).

      Thank you

Ah, I though you are already doing that. Wouldn't using another composite in multiply mode work for this?
