    Hi,

    I am currently working on a yacht/ocean scene for high res stills and some animation. I was wondering if there is a way that I could render the foam separately for a bit more control in comp?? Also if there a way to get an RGB channel or black an white mask for the particle elements? I have search the docs and forums but can't find any info on this.

    Hey, just make your simulator or particle shaders not renderable. For separation of particle elements, use Multimatte and render the particle shader with Render as Geometry enabled, and disable it again after since it would affect the light scattering in the particles.
