  • Bubbles in the bathtub

Hi We need to create a scene where bubbles fill up a bathtub and then they pour out of the bathtub filling up the whole bathroom with bubbles. Do we need a grid over the bathtub only with outside foam on or the whole bathroom needs a grid. Are there any good settings for the bathtub bubbles?

    Thanks

    Hey,

Sounds like you need B2B interaction for the foam. Will you have any liquid particles? If not, for FLIP sims, it's not such a problem having a larger grid because it's not going to get calculated anyway if there is no liquid. Foam will keep it's B2B interaction outside the grid as well, but if you have liquid in the grid, foam might change its behavior in and out the grid if the liquid pushes it while it's inside the grid, since there won't be any liquid outside the grid to keep pushing it... This is what I can think of off the top of my head

    Cheers!

        Hey,

You can use the birth volume option - this way you can specify a geometry volume where the particles will be born. You can find more about it here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...quidFoam-Birth
