  • Liquid density and pressure

I'm not sure if this has already been discussed, but I wonder how to simulate liquid, where there's liquid mixed by their density. There's a flow going down and another going up in one simulation. Obviously I need one source sending stream down and another up.Is it ink&water solution, what I should start studying.

The another. I want to generate pressure, so I can send liquid upstream against the gravity. How to generate "pressure" to make this happen?

Hey, sorry for the late reply - I've been playing around with the new Particle Tuner we're adding to Phoenix 4, and while having liquid with different weights in the same simulation was not possible so far, it looks like it could happen after some changes to the Tuners. Will post a video shortly...

Thanks for Your reply. The particle tuner sounds interesting. It looks like I have to do couple of animations on boiling up things. I would need connection between particles and liquid simulations. It would solve a lot of things having particles to follow liquid movements. Do You think it's possible with R4? I might have some very interesting things to test with this beta.
