Hi Guys,
I am wondering if this CPU, the i9 9900KS will be the right Choice for a Simulation Computer. As i read in the"Hardware Advice for faster Rendering" in the Manual:
Processor speed is more important than core count. Also, NUMA and multiprocessor architectures do not perform well with Phoenix. Simulating on one NUMA node is often faster than waiting for multiple nodes to synchronize. What is a NUMA NODE? Does this mean, that the Speed of one Core should be as fast as possible? Will PhoenixFD profit from this CPU speedwise or which CPU do u use? Before i invest Money in a new System, please let me now what you think.
Thanks in Advance
David
