    Hi,
    We have a large puddle where cars will swim around. Unfortunately the puddle is to big to make it as a full detailed grid. is there anyway to have a small grid around cars only and then the rest is like infinite ocean except we want to set border where infinite ocean will end. We dont want it to go to the horizon.

    At the end our goal is grid around race boats that race around a lake for waves and splashes. And we need a border around the lake so water doesn't go all the way to horizon. Is it possible?

    Hey,

    You could probably make a second larger grid and you can set it to render in Cap mesh - this way the border won't go to infinity.

      Thanks and how will I be able to blend a small detailed grid inside large detailed grid?

        Well this would be the tricky part - you will have to play around with the camera angles as the difference in resolution might be obvious.
        Another option is to make a few grids and use them in cascade mode. So the liquid and splashes can get from one to another grid.

            Hey,

            In this setup, would it work for you if the Cutter affected the inifnite ocean as well? Sounds like maybe this is what we should implement.

                How can I make it happen here? Does not happen with a simple setup or any of our test scenes, so there must be something specific in the options in this setup
