  • Filling multiple objects in a grid

    Hey all,

I am a little stuck with this one. I have a couple of boxes in a grid that I want to fill with liquid. I know in bifrost you can assign 'fill objects' which I have done in the past by having geo inside an object and have that as the fill object.

Is there a way to fill multiple objects within a grid area. They wont be emitters as such as they are just containers of water, as I said I am a little stuck and no doubt have missed something obvious here.

    Hey,

If you're in Max if you right-click on an object and choose the Phoenix FD Properties menu - there is an option called Initial Liquid Fill. This will make the object non-solid and will fill it with liquid.

If you're in Maya you can do this by adding the Phoenix FD attributes from the Attributes menu of the object and choosing Initial Liquid Fill.

You can also check this tutorial here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...ith+Containers

I was just looking at how to cancel this post.. it dawned on me that it would have to have been in the properties of the objects and literally was just simming out two boxes filled.

Thanks for the prompt reply though, you guys are on point for activity on here - keep it up.
