  • Volume Brush problem - Volume always thicker than original source geometry

    Hello,
I was using the emit mode "volume brush" to get an object made of smoke.
But when I compare, the volume is at the first frame significantly thicker than the original object.

How is it possible to get really the exact sharp shape? It should dissipate later, so "confine geometry" isn't a solution for this

Is there maybe a simple way convert geometry into "Volume"?

Or can the voulme brush be more accurate replicating the source shape?

    Thanks

Hey, can't say much without seeing your source and simulator settings, but in general there should be two factors to it:
    - more grid resolution would make the brushed shape more precise.
    - changing the object voxels right click Phoenix property from to Inscribed would shrink the volume.

    Hipe this helps.
