I am just trying to achieve a render with a glass of water and some particles falling into it. I set a shape to start the initial fill and give it quite a few frames to settle. Well It just never seems to settle to a complete stop even after about 1800 frames? There are tiny ripples that just keep moving. I've even tried another simulation with a higher scale in thinking that would cause the ripples to big a lot larger and not move so much. Is there something I am missing with maybe setting a higher tension on the water? Or do I really need way more frames to simulate until it finally fully settles?
