  • Initial fill object not reacting to Waveforce

As above. I can get the waveforce to affect normal ocean mesh but it doesn't seem to have any effect on a initial filled liquid. Any ideas?

    Hey, grab a latest nightly

Check this video and also check the description for the changes the new Massive Wave Force brings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnMh...l=ChaosGroupTV

Sounds like the part where the old wave force ignored all liquid above the ocean level.

Can you send over a scene and a log for the other thread with the low CPU usage too?

    Cheers!

Sorry, do you have a link for the nightlies? Also, I did check that video. He is filling a simulation with initial fill but I am filling an object. Setting the object as a initial fill.I need the initial fill then to have the waveforce applied to it plus also being able to interact with objects and the container that the fluid sits in.

I'll send a basic version of the scene to you. Which email is it best to send to?

        Hey,

        - Nightlies: https://nightlies.chaosgroup.com/#/phoenix4max/nightly (or if you forget the URL, there is a sticky topic at the very top of each Phoenix forum)

        - About the video - indeed, I'm filling the container, but this is not related. Up until 4.30, the wave force worked only for simulations with Fillup for Ocean, and only below the fillup level. With a nightly, it will work over the entire volume of the simulator, and it will work no matter if you have Fillup for Ocean on or off - this is why it's even working for smoke now.

        - If the scene is confidential, please send it over to: support at chaosgroup dot com.

        Cheers!
