Hi all.
I come from a Realflow background and was wondering if certain features of Rf are possible in Phoenix?

- Is it possible to lock the timeline?
- In Rf locking the timeline means that cache files aren't created. A bottle, for example, will fill..... you can leave it to settle, then unlock the timeline for the cache files to start being created.
- You could also do a countdown.... with the timeline locked - Rf would still count the frames.... After a set time the timeline would unlock
- Setting initial states
- In Rf, setting an initial state saves the current cached frame, and sets that to 0 - so you can have that as a starting point.
- What I'm having to do is go through the timeline to find a backup frame I can restore from. In the cache folder, copy that frame - rename it to 0000 - delete the other frames and then restore. I'm sure there's an easier way to do this

- Set emitters as mesh excluders
- In Rf, you could set an emitter to exclude from a mesh. This was useful for making bubbles rising to the surface. Here's a video I made..... GOD.... 11 years ago - https://vimeo.com/10842911
