  • Sharpening ink simulations renders

    Hi,

I'm simulating ink going into water and the renders are coming out too blurry (not sharp enough).

I'm fairly new to Phoenix and am wondering what I can do to sharpen the renders.

I'm currently calculating at grid size 0.5 and cant do any lower on the machine I'm using.

Attached are examples of the render, a cropped area to show how blurred it is, and a version that's been sharpened in photoshop.

    Any advice welcome!

    Hey,

If you're after sharper renders check out the Image Filter settings in the V-Ray options. You can find more about it here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VMAX/Image+Filter
