Hi there,
I have a problem with a sim I am mucking around with where fluid is being projected too far forward. I have a character who (a zombie) is lumbering forward and raises his arms. It is a slow motion so I would expect some fluid to move ahead of the character but seeing the character is the emitter is is really pushing heaps of fluid forward. The emitter is only set to 1cm, I have motion inertia set to 0 or .1 or 1 (none really make a difference). I have tried gravity at 2 or 3 but then it looks like the fluid falling is sped up! Motion Velocity in the emitter is turned off also.
I have some surface tension and viscosity also as I am trying to get it to drip off in clumps, but there is just too much momentum forward. I should be like when you get out of a pool and walk forward, the water just drips off you and doesn't fly ahead.
What should I be looking at setting wise (is there something in the emitter I should be doing) to achieve this effect?
Thanks
