  • Does anyone use Rayfire as a source for smoke emission

    Hey there,
I was looking at getting a copy of Rayfire to muck around with fracturing and damage and the like (I do like the look of their asperity changes), but was wondering if anyone knows if you can cache the output of a rayfire sim and then use that as the emission source in Phoenix. I assume it would be way too slow doing the rayfire sim and the phoenix sim at the same time.

    Thanks.

    Hey,

Just tested the Rayfire demo and seems to be working correctly.

You will have to bake the Rayfire sim first and then run the Phoenix sim. If anything pops up, ping us.

    Cheers!
