  • Particle Tuner, delete Lonely foam particles

    Hi,

I never used particle tuner for now. I was wondering if I can delete particles (foam) if they are lonely. We have often these patterns of foam, but with some lonely particles floating around, which don't look nice when rendering.

So, basically, I want to delete a particle, maybe after some time, if it's alone at a certain distance from other particles...

As a side note, can we use B2B again with ocean/wake/foam simulations ?

    thanks

I guess I have the response here:

Distance To | val_type, val_dist_node – returns the distance from the current particle to the surface of the specified object. Will be positive if the particle is outside the object volume, and will be negative if the particle is inside the object volume. The distance is in simulation grid voxels. Note: currently you can only pick polygon meshes - measuring distance from the current particle to a nearest particle from a particle system is currently not supported.

Yes indeed, we've been thinking about an option like this already, so will add one more vote to it
