SimBox doesn't expand always

Hello,

what could be the reason, when a sim box is not expanding (it's set to "open" and adaptive) when rain is falling down.
At a certain point it stops expanding.
Has it maybe to do with substeps?

Hey,

It could be that the liquid is moving too fast and the adaptation can catch up. How about if you add some extra margin. Like 10 or 20 for example?
