  • Follow Path question - how to keep the speed

    Hi there

    just a small question:
Is it possible to set the follow path to not increasing the speed, just to "follow" the path?
I think not, but just in case I haven't seen it or if there's a workaround.

It's often that a simulation looks good, but you only want to change the path (as you if would bend the mesh). Then the needed follow path speed alter unfortunately the simulation.

    Thanks

In order to have any effect, the Follow Path force has to add some speed, so bending the flow of the fluid can happen...

      Thanks... I've assumed that.
Another simple question: Noise attribute: Just to be sure: It needs no noise map
and it can vary the output also with one single face over it's surface (means for example it can put more out on the left side than the right side, without having to divide that face), right?

Ah, you mean the noise on the Source? It does not care about faces - it produces different discharge in every simulation voxel, so it should be random enough

        Working...
