  • "liquid like" setting for splashes

    Hey Svetlin,
    new question

    I'm struggling very hard to get realistic appearance of splashes.

    Even when my setting is "liquid like 100" but they still render as drops not as large splashes. (in the documentation already 3 is enabling large splashes, the setting is able to go to 1000 - not sure how the units are here)
    "Affect Liquid 1 or 0,5"
    My steps per frame are 4.
    Particle Shader is set to "splashes" and "render as splashes".

    When I look at these CGI simulations for comparison, I can see smooth patterns from splashes:

    How can I achieve this with Phoenix?

    Hmm, so what if you set this to 1000? Can you share how your simulation looks now? We are thinking about changes to the splashes liquid-like algorithm and the foam b2b, but I want to see if they will be in the right direction...

      Thanks for reply, 1000 did not change it, I will test it once again today.
      I‘m happy to share the scene with you, just not public (it’s a NDA project). I would send it by email, after cleaning up and doing one more test.
