I have a potential project which would require showing oil with sediment / particles passing through a filter. What would be a good approach to show something like this?
I immediately thought of the floating Objects Tutorial in 3Ds Max by #RedefineFX tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McDV8KUFzsA&t=333s where he uses a combination of tyflow and phoenix FD to float particles on the surface.
However what I would need would be particles that float in the liquid and clump and collect together.
Would bubbles be a good solution for this?
Or would it possible to have particles as active bodies that are submerged?
