Discrete Color Steps for GPU Preview of Smoke ?

I noticed that when I try to change the color of Simply Smoke with the GPU preview turned on it only wants to use certain colors for the GPU preview. Specifically, it didn't want to show green, but rather went from a greenish yellow to cyan no matter what I set the Simple Smoke color to. Is this by design as an optimization or something? Or is this a bug, or a driver issue (this is a New 3090Ti with the latest Studio Driver).

Interestingly enough after reloading the scene is displays the color set in the Simple Smoke.

Hmm, never had this happen to me, so could be a very rare random issue, or something with hardware/drivers. Please ping me if you manage to isolate any steps for this to happen.
