  • Melting and then reforming

I like some advice on how to best melt a solid and reform then reform into a different object. I have no issue with melting a object by turning it into a liquid source and then using the voxel tuner / mapper to change the viscosity with animated map / geometry.
The area I struggling with is moving the melted liquid into the volume of the target object and then freeze or hold it in place whilst there.
I also thought about pushing the object up through the melted liquid and have it stick to the item but how to ensure an even coverage and remove just the liquid that is not required,
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Ah, wouldn't the Body Force do it? It needs to have the Spread Speed option enabled so the liquid would get distributed evenly inside the volume. Perhaps you could also combine the body force effect with another tuner to gradually solidify the liquid back to maximum viscosity. Beware, though, that the liquid amount and the volume of the object that needs to be filled with the body force should roughly correspond - otherwise if the liquid is not enough, it would scatter inside and holes in the mesh would appear, or if the liquid is too much, ir could continue crawling on top of the object or orbiting around it.

    Hope this helps!
