Tooltip persistence duration

Some of the tooltips are very long but only display for the same default duration, which is too short to read them comfortably, so the question is is there a way I can alter
that duration?

Oh yes, I was thinking about this and wanted to combine it with something else I have in mind. We will have a custom duration eventually, will take some time until I get there, but it has to happen
