    Hi there,
I need to create the effect of water running down a glass wall like the attached image.
Now I can get the water to run down the glass but I can't figure how to get the simulation to have the V like shape on the left of the attachement.
Any tips or tricks on how to do this?

    Hey,

Sorry for the late answer, but how about something like this? It's not perfect but with a bit more tweaking of the textures I think you can get it done or at least close enough.

The setup is using an animated noise texture for the liquid emission and for the viscosity so that the liquid can produce some folds. I've also added a tiny bit of sticky liquid to introduce some stickiness to the geometry.

The attached scene is for 3ds Max 2020, but let me know if you need it for an older Max version.

    Hope this helps!
