  • See loaded Cache filename (Frame Number)?

Is there a way to display which cache file frame is loaded at any time? Say I use the speed and offset controls to change how the files are loaded. Is there some way to see which frame(s) of the cache are being used?

If not, (or even if) perhaps this number could be displayed in the greyed out Direct Cache Index field, and updated and you go through the timeline. That would put this display in one place, and already supports floating point numbers too for fractional frames.. Thoughts?

    Thanks.

Yess, check the "..." menu next to the path field -> "Show File Name...".

This will show the smaller of the two frames when a fractional frame needs to be loaded and two caches are blending together.

      Thanks.

Still would be way badass if the Direct Cache index got updated to reflect that. That way you wouldn't have to use a right-click menu and close a dialog every time.
