  • Car drifting through snow

Hey there. Can anyone let me know if this is the best way to do this?

Create a phoenix water simulation. Fill 15% so water level is above tyres on car. Set viscosity to 1.0. Turn on wetting so that wheels cause kick up of particles. Stickiness to 0.1.

The grid itself I wonder if I could link to a point linked to the car without any rotation or z transform inheritance. Would the snow trails disappear outside the grid?

Turn on foam and spray/mist maybe?

Would this be the best way to get snow kicking up from the tyre spin?
    Regards

It's not Phoenix but how about Tyflow granular stuff like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHsY4Q2Lqlc&t=5s

Thanks. I've download some tyflow scenes with a similar setup but it runs so slowly that I'm sticking with phoenix for now. Not sure if my PC is running slowly with Tyflow. These types of granular sims seem to take ages for much smaller areas...
