  • Toilet flush animation

    Hello

I was reguested to make an animation of flushing water in the toilet. Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gscq0AYiRvQ
Do you have any tips how can I approach it? I would be very grateful. I am trying to find some helpful tutorials, but can’t find any…

Hi. I remember having to make something like that once. I suggest getting the bowl's model. Clean the geometry if you have to. You can cut out and delete the parts that won't interact with the water. It is important to have it as a solid mesh with no open edges.
Put an emitter (or two) using the surface force emission mode. The emitter can be a simple geometry. Just make sure you set the proper face IDs and use them in the Phoenix Source. This should give the stream a direction. And hopefully, it will naturally roll and swirl according to the bowl's shape. And after the basic setup is done, you can start introducing some forces if you need to. A Phoenix Path Follow Force could be useful.

    Cheers.
