  • Can I have 2 separate Liquid Sources in one simulation?

    Hi,

I"m having trouble understanding if I can have 2 separate Liquid Source elements with one Liquid Simulator. I'm not talking about actual emitters. I have 2 emitters I need to have emitting at vastly different rates so I assigned them to 2 separate Liquid Sources. Both are within the volume of the single Liquid Simulator. But when I run the simulation only one emitter emits liquid. Any advice?

    Thanks!

    Hello Robert,

Yes, this is a totally viable workflow. Can you show us a screenshot of your settings and how your viewport looks like or send over the scene and we will take a look?

If it is a small one you can add it to a post as a zip file and if it is a larger one you can send it via support.chaos.com (there is Submit a request at top right)

    Thanks!

Thanks for the response. I'm working with support now on the issue so I'll stay with them. I can't figure out why the 2nd source/emitter isn't producing particles. I got the settings dialed in, so it's easy to save those and start over with a new scene. I'm new to PHoenix, and I'm sure it's a rookie mistake.
