  • Simulating a screen

I wonder what would be the best practice to simulate screening with Phoenix FD. Do I need to model objects full of tiny holes leading to extreme amount of polygons of the screen object. It would be nice, if there were possibility to add an opacity map to object's Phoenix properties.

What type of screen are you interested in? Can you show us some references?

      Thanks,

It's a horizontal slowly rotating drum, where the fluid runs through the sides while solid objects should stay inside and continue all the way to junk trap.

At the moment I'm testing a solution where I have small holes, that make the drum sides leak. I also wonder if I made very thin wall to drum. Maybe then the fluid would flow through the sides.
