  • Avoiding fast liquid/foam trails

    Hello,
    how to avoid this super fast liquid and foam trails? Increasing steps per frame makes it even worse, gravity, falling speed does not help either. Only thing which helps is viscosity or surface tension but then it doesn't look like water.

    ​Here you can see it in different sim in motion. Suddenly for no reason ​some liquid particles shoot out and leave ugly foam trail behind them.
    (Gifs are apparently not working so please check attachments)

    Hello,

    Do you have any colliding geometry by any chance? Usually such particle bursts happen due to open geometry (which is not recommended when creating fluid simulations).

    If you have a colliding geometry - if you apply an STL check modifier on top - there should no errors (no open edges, no overlapping faces, etc). If there are errors - I can recommend fixing the errors and trying again.

    If you don't have a colliding geometry - can you send us a screenshot of your Phoenix settings?

      I have colliders yes but all of them are just spheres or boxes.

        The settings look good - can you send over the scene so that we can check it out?
