Word is going around that phoenix is being abandoned. What are the plans moving forward? Can clients expect new features in the future? Or?

I've re-read this several times and still cannot make any sense out of it I'm afraid. What is the meaning, in a clearer way?

I can't find any reference to its being abandoned in any case, so I'm very curious.

Let me put it this way: I've devoted over 25K hrs to Phoenix. I would never have left if there was even the slightest chance of us surviving the constant attacks we were under by our "own".
