  • bercon metaballs

Alright i already posted this in the Vray general forum but with no luck.

I know its not pheonix related but its particles so maybe more fx pro are in this particular section then in the general section..if that make sense.

    Ok.

So i just need to know if its possible to get a velocity pass from bercon metaballs ?

Its particles from Pflow meshed with bercons.

    Anyone?

    Thx.

    Jay.

I will have to check the metaball sources a bit later today. I assume you have already tried the VRayVelocity render element?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      Hi Vlado,

yes i already tried the Vrayvelocity, thats exactly what im trying to do. Make the Vrayvelocity see the motion information from the bercons metaballs.

Thx a lot for your attention.

      Jay.

Well, it seem that bercon metaball + 3d motion blur + light cache = lot of hanging renders, or last bucket that hangs, or multiple buckets hanging.

This project is a nightmare. Hard to tell what is the problem, Pflow? Bercon? Me? lol

Little bit of them all i think, but its such a simple project...

Alright, just talked to Jerry Ylilammi.

He said its not supported for now but that it would be possible to implement with the SDK.

This plug-in's really useful, hope it'll support vray velocity pass in a near future!
