  • Secondary Splashes

I just discovered how to enable the Splashes in 2.0, but I cant get it to display in the rendering process. It looks full and lively in my viewport, but rendering displays nothing from the Splashes.. Any suggestions to get it to show? The Primary water displays correctly.

Having similar problems. I can render the basic part of the spray, but the fringe does not render. How can we increase the resolution?

use the PHXFoam object to render the splashes, select for the mode "splashes".

did that. It shows up in the viewport, but outer particles don't render.

I've got it working in my scene now. The splashes are displaying once I created the PHXFoam as Ivaylo suggested. Thanks Ivaylo! wxyz, make sure you attach the PHXFoam to the Simulation.

Ivaylo, I've noticed a new problem though. I randomly get stuck buckets in my scene. Like 1 bucket will NEVER finish after hours of waiting. Im 90% sure it started with the PhoenixFD, maybe the splashes, not sure. Out of about 100 frames, 20-30 will have a stuck bucket. I solve it by moving my simulation like .3" in any direction. If it sticks again, I move it again.

            Any suggestions on this?

there was a similar bug like this that is already fixed, but to be sure that is the same, send us a scene with the cache file of the frame where the bug appears.
