  • Duplicating Water Fountains

Im still using the first version of Phoenix. In the new version 2.0, is it possible to duplicate a simulation around a scene? For example if I have a water fountain can I just copy the "Simulation" grid to another location on water and it will run fine? Or do I need to run separate animations for each water fountain? Currently on the version I have this isn't possible.

I thought you could copy the simulation grid around the scene in Pre 2.0 versions. I am pretty sure I did it for a project a little while ago

you can copy the grid in the very first versions either.
if you just copy the instance, the simulation content will disappear and you have to run separate simulation for the second instance, in this case you just have shared settings. but if you want just a rendering copy, you have to add in the input path of the copy the name of the original node. for example $(simoutput) simulator01
