  • Liquid Sim - glass not filing - What am I doing wrong?

    Hello,

    I'm trying to fill this glass with liquid. I've gone through the tips and tricks and help files and set it up according to those directions. However, the liquid disappears or seems to shift upwards and collides with invisible objects that aren't there.
    I'm obviously missing something important. Does anyone know what would be causing this?

    seems like your preview settings have liquid up value=1, i recommend to load the presets for liquid
    about the movement - cant say nothing, would be better to send us the scene

      Thanks Ivaylo. Here's the link to the file. Would too small of world scale affect it in such a matter. Would scaling up help?

        Doesn't happen to me....

            Interesting. Thanks for the help guys. I wonder what the difference could be.

            For what it's worth, here's a render of what it looks like after the liquid disappears like in my initial post. This is with 1.1 million cells. I can generally get better results by increasing the resolution and messing with the advection steps and limits.
