Motion blur only via velocity output?

Is there any way to get a blur on phoenix within max? I can pick up the reel smart motion blur package for AE if not. Just checking. Thanks!

Hmmm that is interesting. I wasn't using motion blur in the F10->Vray->camera settings menu... just on camera. I first used a sphere object to make sure it was working properly, then I tried with the water. No luck.

I used 'movie camera' and adjusted shutter angle as needed.
