Smoke dark and thin in VRay but awesome in GPU and Scanline
Smoke dark and thin in VRay but awesome in GPU and Scanline
Just wondering what the trick I might be missing is. In scanline and the realtime preview I get smoke to look exactly like I expect/want. Then I do a VRay render and it's very wispy and transparent (or super dark). Any ideas?
you are using max light with default shadow generator (see the shadows group), vray can't work with the default shadow generator, you have to replace it with the vray's one
Thanks I'm still trying to learn, but I don't think that's problem. I don't recall exactly what I did in that sample, but I'm still getting very dark and unexciting clouds even when using vray lights.
